Opening the Device:

You'll need to remove the Mac mini's bottom cover using a metal prying tool.

This process may cause minor scratch marks on the aluminum body (not visible in normal use).
Critical Data Backup:

BACK UP YOUR DATA before installation!

Due to Apple's security features, you won't be able to recover data from your previous SSD once the new one is installed.
System Revival Required:

After installation, your Mac mini M4 will enter DFU mode and require a firmware update.

You'll need another macOS device (2015 or later, Intel or Apple Silicon, Hackintosh, or a Windows PC running macOS on VMware) to complete the setup.
